Possible Causes
Dust‑clogged fan, Worn fan bearings, Fan motor failure, Fan not receiving power from PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before accessing the fan. Fan blades can be sharp.
- Inspect and clean: Remove the bottom or side cover to access the fan. Clean dust from blades and grille.
- Spin test: Spin the fan by hand; if it feels rough or does not spin freely, replace the fan.
- Voltage check: During operation (only if you are trained), measure voltage at the fan connector. If no voltage is present when the fan should run, the PCB may be faulty.
- Replace fan: Install a compatible Gorenje fan assembly if the motor is defective.
