Possible Causes
Inner pot bottom flexing due to uneven heating, Loose mounting screws on heating plate, Warped heating plate or chassis, Steam release components moving under pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Normal light clicking from relays is expected; investigate only if noises are unusually loud or accompanied by malfunction.
- Check pot and plate: Ensure the pot bottom is flat and the heating plate is clean and free of debris.
- Tighten screws: With the unit unplugged and base removed, tighten mounting screws for the heating plate and chassis supports.
- Inspect for warping: If the plate or chassis is visibly warped, replace the affected assembly.
- Observe operation: Reassemble and run with water. If noise persists but operation is normal and there is no burning smell, it may be normal expansion noise. If performance is affected, seek further service.
