Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on power input, Faulty power cord or plug, Failed main control board, Defective power switch (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug from mains before any checks. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a qualified technician.
- Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Gently wiggle the cord at the plug and cooker entry while observing the display; intermittent power suggests a bad cord.
- Open base and check fuse: Remove the bottom cover. Locate the inline fuse or PCB‑mounted fuse near the power entry. Test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating.
- Check power switch: If your Gorenje model has a mechanical power switch, test it for continuity when ON. Replace if faulty.
- Inspect PCB: Look for burnt components, bulged capacitors, or cracked solder joints around the power supply section. If damage is found, replace the main control board.
