Possible Causes
Partially failing heating element (high resistance), Poor contact between pot and heating plate, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high, Control board regulation error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and cool before internal checks.
- Check inner pot: Ensure you are using the original Gorenje pot. A warped or non‑original pot may not transfer heat correctly.
- Clean contact surfaces: Remove any residue from the pot bottom and heating plate.
- Test heater resistance: Compare measured resistance to the specification or to a known good unit. A significantly higher resistance can reduce power output; replace the heater if out of spec.
- Check temperature sensor: If the sensor reads too hot, the control will limit heating. Test the bottom NTC and replace if its resistance is lower than expected at room temperature.
- Replace PCB: If hardware is good but regulation is poor, the control board may be faulty.
