Possible Causes
Open main heating element, Failed heater relay or triac on PCB, Loose heater wiring, Tripped thermal fuse not resetting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before opening.
- Confirm symptom: Start a simple cooking program with water and check after 5–10 minutes if the water is still cold.
- Access heater: Remove the bottom cover to expose the circular heating element and wiring.
- Test heater: Disconnect heater leads and measure resistance. Infinite resistance indicates a failed heater that must be replaced.
- Check thermal fuse: Test the thermal fuse/thermostat for continuity. Replace if open.
- Inspect relay/triac: On the PCB, check the heater relay or triac for burn marks. If the coil of the relay is not being energized (no click) or contacts are burnt, replace the PCB or relay if it is separately replaceable.
