Possible Causes
Shorted heating element to chassis, Damaged power cord, Moisture inside base or on PCB, Shorted component on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not repeatedly reset the breaker. Unplug the cooker immediately. Work only if you understand electrical safety.
- Visual inspection: Remove the bottom cover and look for signs of water ingress, burnt components, or melted insulation.
- Check power cord: Inspect for damage along its length and at strain relief points. Replace if any conductor is exposed or insulation is compromised.
- Test heater to earth: With the cooker unplugged, measure resistance between each heater terminal and the metal chassis. Any low resistance (below several MΩ) indicates leakage; replace the heating element.
- Dry moisture: If moisture is present, dry the unit thoroughly (24–48 hours in a warm, dry place) before retesting. Identify and fix the source of the leak.
- PCB inspection: Look for shorted components or carbon tracking on the board. Replace the PCB if damaged.
