Display and buttons work, but the multicooker does not heat in any mode (no sizzling on Sauté, no pressure build).

Safety first: Unplug the unit and let it cool before accessing internal components.

• Test Sauté mode: With the inner pot installed and a small amount of water, start Sauté. If the water does not warm after several minutes, the heater is not working.
• Inspect underside wiring (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and check the heavy-gauge wires to the heating plate for burns or loose connectors. Reseat as needed.
• Check thermostat and thermal fuse: Locate the thermostat and thermal fuse near the heater. Test continuity; replace any open devices.
• Measure heater resistance: Disconnect heater leads and measure with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed heating element that must be replaced.
• Replace faulty part: Install a new heating plate assembly or main control board depending on whether the element or switching device has failed.
