Possible Causes

Inner pot missing, Non-original pot not making proper contact, Debris on heating plate sensor, Warped inner pot bottom

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged when cleaning the heating plate.

  • Install correct pot: Make sure the original Gourmia inner pot is in place. The cooker will not operate without it.
  • Clean contact area: Remove the pot and gently clean the heating plate and central sensor disc with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Check pot shape: Place the pot on a flat surface to see if it rocks. If warped, replace it with a new Gourmia-compatible inner pot.
  • Re-seat pot: Reinstall the pot, rotating slightly to ensure full contact, then try starting a program again.
