Lid will not open after cooking; float valve appears stuck in the up position even after cooling.

Possible Causes
Food residue around float valve, Bent float valve pin, Residual pressure not fully released, Deformed float valve gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Never force the lid open. There may still be pressure inside.
- Check for steam: Gently move the steam release valve to Vent. If steam escapes, wait until it stops completely.
- Tap float valve: Use a wooden spoon to gently tap the float valve pin from the outside to free it if stuck.
- Cool the cooker: Allow additional time for the cooker to cool; internal pressure drops as temperature falls.
- Clean float valve: Once open, remove the float valve and clean the pin and channel thoroughly. Replace the silicone cap if deformed.
