Possible Causes
Damaged lid sealing ring, Deformed lid or pot rim, Food debris trapped in lid groove, Incorrect or aftermarket gasket not sealing properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool and depressurize before inspecting the lid.
- Inspect sealing ring and groove: Remove the ring and clean both the ring and the lid groove. Look for cuts or flattening of the ring.
- Check pot rim: Inspect the top rim of the inner pot for dents or warping. Replace the pot if damaged.
- Check lid deformation: Sight along the lid edge to see if it is bent. A severely warped lid may require replacement.
- Use OEM gasket: Replace the sealing ring with a genuine Gourmia ring of the correct size.
