Multicooker does not start a cooking program and displays E0 immediately after pressing Start.

Safety first: Disconnect the multicooker from mains power before any disassembly. Allow the unit to cool completely if recently used.

• Check lid closure: Open and firmly close the lid. Ensure the hinge is not obstructed by food debris or a misaligned silicone gasket.
• Inspect the lid latch: Verify the plastic latch on the lid engages fully with the body. Clean any rice, starch, or residue around the latch using a soft brush and a damp cloth.
• Test the lid switch action: With the unit unplugged, gently press the latch area and listen/feel for a distinct click from the lid microswitch located under the top cover of the body.
• Check the lid switch wiring: If comfortable opening the outer housing, remove the top cover screws (usually under decorative caps) and inspect the lid switch wires and connector to the main control board for looseness or damage. Reseat the connector firmly.
• Reset the unit: Reassemble, plug in, and perform a power reset by unplugging for 5 minutes, then try a short program (e.g., reheat) with the lid fully closed.
• If E0 persists: The lid switch or its harness is likely faulty and should be replaced with a compatible Hisense lid switch assembly. If you are not experienced with electrical repairs, contact a qualified technician.
