Possible Causes
Open-circuit main heating element, Burnt wiring to heater, Faulty triac or relay on main PCB, Loose heater terminals on heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the multicooker and wait until it is completely cool. This repair involves mains-voltage components; proceed only if you are qualified.
- Visual inspection: Remove the inner pot and inspect the heating plate for burn marks or deformation.
- Access the bottom: Turn the unit upside down on a soft cloth, remove the base screws, and lift off the bottom cover to expose the heating element connections.
- Check heater wiring: Inspect the wires from the main PCB to the heating plate for burns, melted insulation, or loose spade connectors. Reseat any loose connectors.
- Test heater resistance: Using a multimeter, measure resistance across the heating element terminals. A very high (open) or near-zero reading indicates a failed element.
- Inspect PCB relay/triac: Look for burnt spots or cracked solder joints around the heater control relay or triac on the main board. Resolder cracked joints if you are experienced.
- Replace faulty parts: Replace a defective heating plate assembly or main control PCB with Hisense-approved parts. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the bottom cover, return the unit upright, and test with a low-temperature program before full use.
