Possible Causes
Blocked steam release path, Stuck float valve, Excessive food foaming (e.g., porridge, beans), Faulty pressure sensor calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow pressure to release naturally. Do not force the lid open.
- Release pressure safely: Once the float valve drops, open the lid carefully away from your face.
- Check food load: Ensure you are not overfilling the pot. For foamy foods, fill only to the recommended level and add oil if suggested by the manual.
- Clean steam path: Remove and clean the steam release valve, float valve, and anti-block shield thoroughly.
- Water-only test: Run a short pressure cycle with only water to confirm normal operation.
- Sensor calibration issue: If P1 recurs with water-only tests, the pressure sensor or main PCB may be faulty and should be replaced.
