Possible Causes
Partially failed heating element, Weak mains voltage, Faulty heater relay/triac, Poor contact between inner pot and heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and cool the cooker before internal checks.
- Check pot seating: Ensure the inner pot is the original Hisense pot and sits flat on the heating plate without rocking.
- Clean contact surfaces: Wipe the bottom of the pot and the heating plate to remove residue that may insulate heat.
- Test on another outlet: Try a different wall outlet to rule out low voltage.
- Internal heater test (advanced): Measure the resistance of the heating element and compare to specifications. A significantly higher resistance can reduce power.
- Inspect heater relay/triac: On the PCB, check for burnt or cracked solder joints at the heater control device. Resolder or replace the PCB if necessary.
