How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool before inspection.
- Inspect inner pot: Check if the base of the Hisense inner pot is warped or uneven. Replace the pot if it does not sit flat.
- Clean sensor area: Remove the pot and clean the central sensor post and surrounding plate.
- Check sensor mounting: From underneath, verify the NTC sensor is firmly pressed against the heating plate and not bent away.
- Replace NTC if needed: If temperature readings are clearly inaccurate, replace the bottom NTC sensor.
- Use appropriate settings: For delicate foods, use lower temperature programs or add more liquid to distribute heat.
