Possible Causes
Faulty Start button or touch sensor, Child lock function enabled, Firmware glitch, Damaged keypad ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before opening the control panel.
- Check display icons: Look for a child lock symbol. If present, disable the lock according to the user manual (often by holding a specific key for several seconds).
- Panel cleaning: Clean the control panel surface and ensure your fingers are dry when operating touch keys.
- Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and try again.
- Inspect keypad cable: Remove the front cover and check the ribbon cable from the keypad to the PCB. Reseat it firmly.
- Replace keypad: If the Start key remains unresponsive while others work, replace the control panel/keypad assembly.
