Possible Causes
Insufficient liquid, Float valve channel clogged with food, Sticky or swollen silicone float cap, Steam leak at sealing ring or valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Cancel the program and allow any steam to vent before opening.
- 1. Check liquid level: Ensure there is enough liquid to generate steam.
- 2. Clean float valve: Remove the float valve pin and silicone cap. Clean the pin, cap, and valve channel thoroughly. Reinstall with the cap fully seated.
- 3. Inspect sealing ring and steam release valve: Replace worn parts that may be causing leaks.
- 4. Water test: Run a water-only cycle. If the float still does not rise, the lid assembly may be defective and require replacement.
