Possible Causes
Damaged or improperly seated silicone sealing ring, Food debris on pot rim or lid groove, Warped inner pot rim, Cracked lid housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Keep hands and face away from escaping steam. Cancel the program if a strong leak persists.
- 1. Cancel and depressurize: Stop the program and carefully release pressure via the steam release valve.
- 2. Inspect sealing ring: Remove the ring, wash it with warm soapy water, and inspect for tears or deformation. Replace if damaged.
- 3. Clean contact surfaces: Thoroughly clean the stainless steel rim of the inner pot and the lid groove where the ring sits.
- 4. Reseat ring: Press the ring firmly and evenly into the lid groove, ensuring it is not twisted.
- 5. Test with water: Run a short water-only pressure test. If leaking continues, inspect the inner pot rim for warping and replace the pot or lid as needed.
