Possible Causes

Bottom sensor reading out of range low, Loose sensor connector, Damaged thermistor, Failed main control board ADC

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before inspection.

  • Power cycle: Unplug for 10–15 minutes, then plug back in and try a simple Saute program. If E2 appears immediately, suspect a sensor or board fault.
  • Inspect sensor wiring: Remove the bottom cover (if qualified and out of warranty). Check the thermistor wiring from the heating plate area to the control board for breaks or loose connectors.
  • Check connector seating: Reseat the thermistor connector on the main control board. Ensure no corrosion or moisture is present.
  • Replace sensor if needed: If wiring is intact but E2 persists, replace the bottom temperature sensor. If a new sensor does not resolve the error, the main control board is likely defective.
