Possible Causes
Steam trapped around lid sensor, Blocked steam release causing localized overheating, Faulty lid temperature sensor, Moisture in lid sensor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool. Ensure pressure is fully released before opening the lid.
- Clean lid components: Remove the sealing ring, anti-block shield, and steam release cap. Wash all parts in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect steam release: Make sure the steam release valve moves freely and is not clogged with food or starch. Clean the steam release pipe from inside the lid with a small brush if needed.
- Dry the lid: Allow the lid to air-dry completely, especially around the sensor area, before reassembly.
- Test with water: Reassemble and run a water-only test. If E3 recurs quickly, the lid temperature sensor may be faulty and should be replaced.
