Possible Causes
Insufficient liquid, Float valve clogged with food, Float valve silicone cap missing or damaged, Steam release valve left open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Be cautious of hot steam. Unplug the cooker if troubleshooting while hot.
- Check steam release position: Ensure the steam release is set to Sealing.
- Verify liquid level: Confirm there is enough liquid in the inner pot (at least the minimum specified).
- Clean float valve: After cooling, remove the float valve pin and silicone cap (from inside the lid). Clean all parts and the float valve channel thoroughly.
- Inspect silicone cap: Replace the float valve silicone cap if it is cracked, hardened, or missing.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the float valve and run a water-only test. If the float still does not rise, inspect the sealing ring and lid assembly for leaks.
