Possible Causes

Food residue on heating plate, Spilled liquids inside base, Shorted wiring near heater, Overfilled pot causing boil-over

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately. If you see smoke, move it to a safe, non-flammable area. Do not open the lid if under pressure.

  • Check for food burning: After cooling and depressurizing, inspect the inner pot and heating plate for burnt food. Clean thoroughly.
  • Inspect base: Remove the bottom cover and look for signs of melted plastic, burnt wires, or charred PCB areas.
  • Dry interior: If liquid has entered the base, allow the unit to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reuse.

If any wiring or components appear burnt, discontinue use and have the wiring harness or control board replaced.
