Inner lid (removable plate) will not lock in place or falls out when opening the lid.

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is cool before handling the inner lid.

• Clean thoroughly: Remove the inner lid and wash it, including all clips and grooves. Clean the mating surfaces on the main lid.
• Inspect clips: Check for broken or bent plastic clips that hold the inner lid. If broken, the inner lid will not stay in place.
• Reinstall correctly: Follow the manual to align and snap the inner lid into position until it clicks.

If clips are broken or the plate is warped, replace the inner lid assembly.
