Possible Causes
Faulty power outlet, Damaged power cord, Open internal fuse, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before any internal inspection.
- Check outlet and breaker: Test the outlet with another device and reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, fraying, or burn marks. If damaged, do not use the cooker until the cord is replaced.
- Try another outlet: Plug the cooker directly into a different wall outlet (no power strip) to rule out strip failure.
- Internal fuse (advanced): If comfortable and after unplugging, remove the bottom cover and look for an inline fuse or board-mounted fuse. If blown, identify and correct the cause (short, surge) before replacing with the exact same rating.
- When to call a technician: If the fuse is intact and there is still no power, the control board or internal wiring likely needs professional diagnosis.
