Possible Causes
Loose internal components, Relay chatter on control board, Warped inner pot rocking on heater, Foreign object under inner pot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before inspecting inside the base.
- Check under inner pot: Remove the pot and look for utensils, grains, or debris on the heating plate. Remove any foreign objects.
- Inspect pot fit: Place the pot back in and rotate it. It should sit flat without rocking. Replace if warped.
- Normal relay clicks: Occasional soft clicks from the control board relays are normal. Continuous rapid clicking or loud buzzing is not.
- Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and check for loose screws, brackets, or components that may vibrate against the housing.
- When to call a technician: Persistent loud noises, especially accompanied by burning smells, require professional diagnosis.
