Possible Causes
Cooling fan motor seized or blocked, Fan connector loose, Fan blades obstructed by debris, Fan driver circuit failure on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the multicooker and let it cool before accessing internal components.
- Listen for fan operation: On models with a cooling fan, you should normally hear a small fan during or after cooking. If it is silent and E10 appears, suspect the fan circuit.
- Access fan assembly: Remove the back or bottom cover (depending on model) to locate the small cooling fan near the control board or steam outlet.
- Check for obstructions: Clear any dust, plastic, or wiring that may be blocking the fan blades. Spin the blades gently by hand; they should move freely.
- Verify wiring: Ensure the fan's two-wire connector is firmly plugged into the control board.
- Test fan voltage (advanced): With extreme caution and the unit powered (only if you are trained), measure voltage at the fan connector when the cooker attempts to start. If voltage is present but the fan does not spin, replace the fan. If no voltage, the board driver is likely faulty.
If you are not comfortable working around live circuits, have a technician replace the fan or control board.
