Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool. Do not operate with liquid inside the base.

Check condensation collector: Locate and empty the condensation cup or channel on the side/back of the Lagostina cooker. Ensure it is properly seated.
Inspect inner pot: Fill the pot with water and place it on a dry surface outside the cooker to check for cracks or pinhole leaks.
Look for spill traces: Examine the outer body and base for dried food trails indicating overflow from the top.
Open base (advanced): Remove the bottom cover (unplugged) and check for signs of water ingress. Dry thoroughly before reuse.

If leaks originate from internal seals around the heating plate or pressure chamber, professional service is recommended.
