Unpleasant sour or rancid odor from the cooker even when empty.

Safety first: Unplug before deep cleaning.

• Disassemble lid parts: Remove the silicone gasket, anti-block shield, steam release valve, and condensation collector.
• Soak and clean: Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water. For stubborn odors, soak in a solution of water and white vinegar (1:1) for 30 minutes, then rinse.
• Clean lid and pot: Wipe the lid interior and body rim with a vinegar solution, then with clean water.
• Air out: Leave the lid open and the inner pot removed for 24 hours to fully dry.

Replace the silicone gasket if odors persist, as silicone can absorb strong smells over time.
