Possible Causes
Failed RTC chip on PCB, Corrupted timer settings, Control panel keypad fault, Loose control ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before opening any covers.
- Reset settings: Cancel all programs, unplug the cooker for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and reset the clock and timer according to the Lakeland manual.
- Test without delay: Run a normal immediate-start program. If it works but E10 appears only with delayed start, the timer circuit or firmware is suspect.
- Check buttons: Press each button on the control panel firmly to ensure none are stuck or unresponsive. A stuck key can confuse the timer logic.
- Inspect ribbon cable: If accessible, reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad/display board and the main PCB.
- When to replace: Persistent E10 indicates a failure in the control panel PCB or main control PCB. Replacement of the faulty board is required and should be done by a professional.
