• Clean steam path: After cooling, clean the steam release valve, anti-block shield, and safety valve thoroughly.
• Check loose parts: Tighten any loose screws on the lid handle, hinge, or valve cap.
• Ensure pot is seated: Confirm the inner pot is fully seated and not tilted or touching the side walls.
• When to replace: Persistent abnormal noises may indicate a failing steam release valve or pressure regulator, which should be replaced.
