Possible Causes
Stuck float valve in raised position, Blocked float valve vent, Faulty float valve switch or sensor, Pressure sensor not returning to ambient reading
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged and fully depressurized before touching the lid components.
Checks:
- Verify float valve movement: From inside the lid, gently push the float valve up and down. It should drop freely when there is no pressure. Clean any food residue around it.
- Clean vent path: Remove the anti-block shield and clean the vent channel thoroughly.
- Inspect float valve cap: Ensure the silicone cap on the float valve stem is intact and not swollen or torn.
- Sensor check: Some MasterPro models use a small switch or magnetic sensor to detect float position. Access the top cover and verify the sensor is aligned and its wiring is intact.
Resolution: Replace the float valve and cap set if movement is restricted or the cap is damaged. If the mechanical parts are fine but E13 persists, the float sensor or pressure sensor may be faulty and should be replaced or tested by a technician.
