High Base Temperature Lockout
Display shows 'HOT' and the cooker refuses to start a new program immediately after cooking.

Possible Causes
Base still above safe start temperature, Residual heat from previous cycle, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to cool the cooker rapidly with water or ice; this can damage components.
Normal behavior:
- 'HOT' is often a normal indication that the base is too hot to start certain programs (especially frying or baking modes). Allow 15–30 minutes for cooling.
If 'HOT' persists after cooling:
- Unplug the cooker for 10 minutes, then reconnect.
- Remove the inner pot and ensure the heating plate and sensor area are clean.
- If the base feels cool to the touch but 'HOT' remains, the bottom temperature sensor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
