- Ensure the lid is fully closed and locked; many MasterPro models will not start unless the lid sensor is engaged.
- Check the display for a child lock icon; disable child lock according to the user manual (often by holding a specific key for several seconds).
- Try starting different programs to see if the issue is mode-specific.
Keypad checks:
- If other buttons respond but Start does not, the Start key may be faulty. Remove the front panel and inspect the keypad PCB or membrane.
- Reseat the keypad connector on the main board.
