Safety first: Unplug the cooker before opening the housing.

Check outlet and cord: Ensure stable power from the outlet and that the cord is not loose.
Inspect display connector: Access the control panel and reseat the connector between the display and main board.
Look for board damage: Inspect the power supply section on the main board for bulging capacitors or burnt components.
Replace parts as needed: If the display remains dim with a good power supply, replace the control panel/display module or main board.

Warning: Flickering accompanied by burning smell or heat from the panel indicates a serious fault; discontinue use.
