Overpressure / Pressure Sensor Fault
E5 error appears and cooker stops; often associated with high pressure or steam leakage.

Possible Causes
Blocked steam release valve, Blocked anti-block shield or steam vent, Stuck float valve, Faulty pressure sensor on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Allow pressure to release completely before opening the lid. Keep hands and face away from steam vents.
- Clean steam release valve: Remove the steam release handle/valve from the lid. Wash it thoroughly with warm soapy water, ensuring the vent path is clear. Rinse and dry.
- Clean anti-block shield: Remove the anti-block shield (metal cap or cover over the steam outlet) from the underside of the lid. Clean any food residue or starch buildup. Ensure all holes are clear.
- Check float valve: Move the float valve up and down. It should move freely and not stick. Disassemble and clean if necessary, then reassemble with the silicone cap properly seated.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone sealing ring and check for deformation, cracks, or food buildup. Clean or replace if worn.
- Test again: Reassemble the lid components, add water to the inner pot, and run a short pressure program. If E5 returns with a clean lid and proper sealing, the internal pressure sensor or control board may be defective and require professional replacement.
Warning: Never block or cover the steam release valve; this can cause dangerous overpressure.
