Possible Causes
Disconnected pressure sensor hose, Damaged pressure sensor on control board, Cracked or blocked pressure tube from lid to sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is cool and depressurized.
- Locate pressure sensor tube: Remove the outer housing or top cover as needed. Identify the small silicone or rubber tube running from the lid area to a pressure sensor on the control board or a small separate module.
- Check tube connection: Ensure the tube is firmly attached at both ends and not kinked or pinched.
- Inspect for blockage: Remove the tube and blow through it gently. It should be clear. Clean or replace if blocked or cracked.
- Check sensor module: Inspect the pressure sensor body for cracks, corrosion, or signs of overheating. Reseat its connector on the control board.
- Test operation: Reassemble and run a water-only test. If E7 persists, the pressure sensor or main control board will likely need replacement.
Warning: Do not modify or bypass the pressure sensor; it is a critical safety component.
