• Check lid indicator: Some models show a lid-closed icon. If it does not appear, the lid switch may not be engaging.
• Inspect lid switch: Access the area near the lid latch inside the housing and verify the microswitch actuator is not bent or obstructed.
• Check pot detection (if present): Some Mealthy models have a spring-loaded pin or switch under the heating plate. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck.
• Test again: After ensuring switches actuate properly, reassemble and test. Replace faulty switches as needed.
