Possible Causes

Defective lid lock microswitch, Misaligned lid locking mechanism, Broken plastic actuator for lock sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Ensure there is no pressure in the pot before manipulating the lid lock.

  • Check lid lock movement: Move the lid lock lever (if external) and confirm it moves smoothly and returns by spring action. Do not force it.
  • Clean lock area: Use a small brush to remove food particles around the lock slot and latch. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry.
  • Open/close test: Open and close the lid several times, listening for the internal switch click. If there is no click or it feels loose, the switch or actuator may be broken.
  • If E11 remains: The lid lock switch assembly should be replaced to ensure safe pressure operation.
