Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation grills, Failed internal cooling fan motor, Fan connector loose from PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool.

  • Check ventilation: Ensure there is at least 10–15 cm clearance around the cooker. Clean dust from side and bottom vents with a soft brush or vacuum.
  • Listen for fan: During operation, you should hear a faint fan noise on models equipped with one. If silent and E19 appears, suspect fan failure.
  • Inspect fan (advanced): Remove the outer shell to access the fan. Check for obstructions and spin the blades by hand; they should move freely.
  • Replace fan: If seized or not receiving power, replace the fan motor with a compatible Midea part.
