Possible Causes
Defective lid-mounted NTC sensor, Broken flex cable between lid sensor and main board, Corroded connector at lid hinge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool fully before working near the lid hinge.
- Clean lid interior: Remove the inner lid plate (if removable) and gently clean around the sensor area with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the sensor.
- Inspect hinge wiring: On models with visible wiring at the hinge, check for pinched or frayed wires. Do not pull on the cable.
- Reseat connectors (if accessible): If you can safely remove the top cover, gently unplug and replug the lid sensor connector to clear oxidation.
- Test operation: Reassemble and run a low-temperature program. If E7 recurs, the lid sensor assembly should be replaced.
