Possible Causes

Food residue trapped under sealing ring, Dirty steam release components, Condensation collector not emptied

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before deep cleaning.

  • Disassemble lid components: Remove the sealing ring, inner lid, anti-block shield, steam valve, and float valve where possible.
  • Soak and clean: Wash all removable parts in hot, soapy water. For stubborn odors, soak the sealing ring in a solution of water and white vinegar (1:1) for 30 minutes.
  • Clean body rim and condensation collector: Wipe thoroughly and empty the collector regularly.
  • Deodorize cycle: Run a short steam cycle with water and a few tablespoons of vinegar, then rinse with plain water.
