Steam continuously escapes from the steam release valve and pressure never builds.

Safety first: Keep clear of hot steam. Do not cover the valve.

• Check valve position: Ensure the steam release handle is in the Seal position according to your Midea model.
• Clean valve: After cooling and depressurizing, remove the valve cap and clean the internal surfaces and gasket.
• Inspect gasket: Replace the small silicone gasket or the entire valve if it is cracked or hardened.
• Water test: Run a pressure test with water only to confirm proper sealing.
