Possible Causes
Incorrect temperature sensor reading, Firmware/control logic issue on PCB, Relay or triac sticking on or off
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before internal inspection.
Steps to troubleshoot:
- Verify with thermometer: Use a food thermometer to measure temperature during Keep Warm. Typical range is 60–75°C. Much lower or higher indicates a fault.
- Check sensor: Inspect and, if necessary, replace the NTC sensor on the heating plate.
- Observe behaviour: If the heater never cycles on in Keep Warm, the control may not be commanding it. If it never turns off, the relay/triac may be stuck.
- Replace PCB if needed: Persistent incorrect Keep Warm behaviour after sensor replacement usually requires a new control PCB.
