Water or food leaks from the bottom of the multicooker onto the countertop.

Possible Causes
Cracked inner pot, Damaged or missing condensation collector, Loose or cracked inner lid gasket allowing liquid into housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately if liquid is seen near the power cord or base. Do not operate until fully dry and repaired.
Steps to diagnose:
- Inspect inner pot: Remove and fill the pot with water while holding it over a sink. Check for hairline cracks or leaks, especially around the base weld.
- Check condensation collector: Many Morphy Richards models have a removable condensation cup at the back. Ensure it is installed correctly and not cracked or overflowing.
- Inspect inner lid gasket: Remove the inner lid (if fitted) and check its gasket. A damaged gasket can allow steam and condensate into the housing, which may drip out of the base.
- Dry the unit: If liquid has entered the housing, remove the base and gently dry all components. Allow at least 24 hours in a warm, dry place before reassembly.
- Replace faulty parts: Fit a new inner pot, condensation collector, or inner lid gasket as needed.
Warning: If water has reached the control PCB or mains connections, have the unit inspected by a professional.
