• Clean the latch area: Use a soft brush and a slightly damp cloth to remove dried food or starch around the latch and hinge that may prevent full closure. Dry thoroughly.
• Test again: Plug the unit back in, close the lid firmly, and start a simple program (e.g., reheat). If E0 persists, the lid switch or its wiring is likely faulty and should be replaced.

When to call a technician: If the lid switch wiring inside the top cover is damaged or the switch is riveted to the hinge assembly, disassembly involves opening the housing and should be done by a qualified technician to avoid damaging the control board.
