Possible Causes

Temporary software glitch, Incorrect lid position for selected mode, Incompatible program selection with current configuration, Minor sensor reading out of range

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is cool and depressurized before changing modes or opening the lid.

Try this:

  • Cancel and reset: Press Cancel/Stop, unplug for 1–2 minutes, then plug back in.
  • Check lid and valves: Make sure the lid is correctly closed for pressure modes and open or in the correct position for non-pressure modes, as specified in the Moulinex manual.
  • Verify inner pot: Ensure the original inner pot is installed and seated correctly.
  • Select a simple program: Try a basic program like reheat or keep warm with some water in the pot. If it runs normally, the previous error may have been a transient glitch.

If "Err" persists: The unit may have a deeper sensor or control issue. Note the circumstances when the error appears and contact Moulinex support.
