Possible Causes

Open main heating element, Blown thermal fuse, Failed heater relay or triac on PCB, Disconnected heater wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance.

User checks:

  • Confirm program: Ensure you selected a cooking mode, not just "Keep Warm" or a delayed start.
  • Check inner pot: The cooker may refuse to energize the heater if the pot is missing. Install the original Moulinex pot.

If the unit still never warms up (no heat on the bottom after several minutes), the fault is internal. Heater and PCB diagnostics require opening the unit and using a multimeter, which should be done by a technician.
