Possible Causes
Overheating thermal fuse intermittently opening, Loose heater connection, Failing heater relay on PCB, Deformed inner pot causing poor contact with sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool before inspection.
Steps:
- Check inner pot contact: Ensure the pot sits flat and rotates freely. Replace if the bottom is warped.
- Clean heating plate: Remove any burnt residue or foreign objects from the heating plate that could cause hot spots.
- Avoid overfilling: Overfilled pots can cause boiling over and trigger thermal protection. Keep below MAX line.
If heating remains intermittent, internal components (thermal fuse, relay, wiring) must be tested and replaced by a professional.
