Worn or incorrectly installed silicone gasket, Food residue on sealing surfaces, Lid not fully locked, Deformed lid or pot rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the cooker and allow pressure to release before attempting to adjust the lid.
Steps:
- Inspect and reinstall gasket: Remove the gasket, clean it and the groove in the lid, then reinstall ensuring it is evenly seated all around.
- Clean contact surfaces: Wipe the top rim of the inner pot and the lid sealing surface.
- Check for deformation: Look for dents or warping on the pot rim. Replace the inner pot if damaged.
- Replace gasket: If the gasket is stretched, flattened, or cracked, replace it with a genuine Moulinex sealing ring.
