Steam release valve is very hard to turn or feels stuck.

Safety first: Only attempt to remove or clean the valve when the cooker is unplugged and fully depressurized.

Steps:

• Remove valve: Take off the steam release knob or cap according to the manual.
• Soak and clean: Soak the valve parts in warm soapy water, then scrub gently with a small brush.
• Rinse and dry: Ensure all passages are clear and parts are fully dry before reassembly.
• Replace if damaged: If silicone seals are deformed or the valve body is cracked, replace the entire valve assembly.
